“Harmony of Hearts” – 31st Annual Function 2025 Celebrated at Green Grove Public School
Khanna, December 7 ( Prof.Avtar Singh ):-The 31st Annual Function “Harmony of Hearts” unfolded with grandeur and cultural vibrance at Green Grove on December 7, 2025. The esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Baltej Singh Pannu -General Secretary (AAP) and Media Incharge Govt of Punjab,was warmly welcomed alongside the Guest of Honour, President Mr. J.P.S. Jolly, Vice President Ms.Navera Jolly ,Chairperson Mrs. Satinderjit Jolly and Principal Ms.Suzy George,marking the commencement of an inspiring and memorable celebration.
The event began with the Advent of the Chief Guest, followed by an Efflorescent Welcome and a Gracious Salutation. The solemn Lamp Lighting Ceremony further uplifted the aura as the school invoked divine blessings through soulful hymns—“Lakh Khushiyan Patshahiyan,” “Make Me a Channel of Peace,” an enchanting Lyrical Welcome, and the resonant School Anthem, instilling pride among all present.
A Grand Salutation by the comperes paved the way for the next segment, expressing reverence through a captivating Ganesh Vandana. The audience was mesmerized by the Classical Fusion Dance, which set the cultural tone for the evening.
The school’s achievements were showcased through a documented presentation titled “The Preamble,” highlighting academic milestones and institutional progress. This was followed by an Alluring Welcome Address by President Mr. J.P.S. Jolly. Academic excellence was celebrated thereafter through the Accolade Ceremony honouring meritorious students of Classes X to XII.
A dramatic portrayal of Shakespeare’s timeless classic, “The Merchant of Venice,” enthralled the gathering, complemented by the rhythmic performances—“On the Floor,” “Fell in Love,” and “Cherry Cherry Lady.”
The Chief Guest, Mr. Baltej Pannu, then offered words of commendation and felicitation, appreciating the institution’s efforts and achievements. A special souvenir was presented to him as a token of gratitude.
The cultural fiesta continued with a vibrant series of entertainment, featuring Haryanvi Dance (VII), Garba, MJ Dance, a powerful Army Act, Dandiya, and a Fusion Folk performance, each showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of the students.
A thoughtful Symposium on NEP 2020 illustrated the school’s commitment to progressive education. The celebration reached its zenith with Glimpses of Punjabi Culture, including electrifying performances:

Gidha, reflecting the vibrancy of Punjab’s folk heritage.
The school Glee Club uplifted the atmosphere with refreshing musical renditions, followed by a spectacular Grand Finale that filled the auditorium with thrilling energy.
The programme concluded with heartfelt Words of Gratitude, capturing precious moments of the grand celebration, and finally, the assembly stood in reverence for “Our Pride – The National Anthem.”
